The new ship repair facility includes a 1,260 foot pier and supporting buildings including a 19,500 SF office/warehouse building and various utility buildings. The pier is designed to accommodate four Navy vessels at one time and has utility provisions for each ship including steam, salt water, fresh water, compressed air, oxygen and map welding gases, oily waste, CHT, electric, telephone, and fiber optic communications.
